Ms Difei Wang studied medicine at University of Cambridge during which time she complete a PhD in clinical neuroscience and spinal injury as part of the MB PhD programme. She completed her neurosurgery training in the Wessex Deanery and Southampton General Hospital. She undertook post-CCT fellowships in functional and epilepsy surgery and paediatric neurosurgery at King’s College Hospital. She is currently a paediatric and adult consultant neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital. Her interests include paediatric and adult epilepsy surgery including Stereo-EEG, deep brain stimulation and the management of spasticity, neuro-endoscopy, hydrocephalus and paediatric brain and spinal tumours as well as treatment of degenerative spine.
