Trained at UCL Medical School, obtaining an MBBS qualification with an intercalated BSc in Medical Sciences and Psychology. Completed an MSc In Advanced Paediatrics at the UCL Institute of Child Health with distinction. Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Member of the European Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) and BSPGHAN.
Sat on the College Special Advisory Committee (CSAC) for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (PGHAN). Held responsibility for U.K. PGHAN trainees' training and assessment. Also served as advisor for trainees.
Sub-investigator for clinical trials in Paediatric Gastroenterology including novel biologic interventions in paediatric inflammatory bowel disease.
Special interest in teaching, and former Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London with formal qualifications in teaching and education (GIC, MSc).
